Madison Bennett

ASSISTANT HIGH SCHOOL DIRECTOR


Madison Bennett is in her second year as Assistant High School Band Director, having served the three prior years as Marching Technician with the program. She teaches high school and junior high color guard, beginning woodwind classes, and conducts the high school Concert Band. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. While in college she gave private flute lessons, and her students made All-Region/Area/State. She is originally from Canton, where she spent seven years in the Mighty Eagle Band program as a student, and served as Drum Major her senior year. 

Madison has served as an adjudicator for numerous middle school and high school Region and Area band auditions, along with solo and ensemble contests. She was also a clinician with Mr. Bartley at the 2019 Texas Bandmasters Association (TBA) convention. She is a member of Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Association of Texas Small School Bands, where she serves as the Region 3 Librarian.
